The 5th. Gen. Honda Prelude is a great car! I own a 00' Prelude myself. First of all, lower the car. There are a lot of suspension setups but the most common is lowering springs & aftermarket shocks. You won't need a camber kit if the car is not lowered more than 1.5in. After lowering, buy a set of wheels. 17s would be best for performance and 18s would be show. Just find a wheel that is not wider than 7.5in and has an wheel offset no smaller than 42mm and no bigger than 50mm. As for tires, the best setup would be 215/40. The best performance bolt-on for the Prelude would be a cold air intake from AEM or Injen. You should be able to get all of the above with money to play with for $3000. Good luck!

i would throw sum nice 17" gunmetal rims up there and get a carbon fiber hood, along wit sum carbon fiber mirrors and a full greddy exhaust...and sum headers and a AEM V2 intake....thats wat I would do..$3000 is alot to play wit

these cars are so nice as is...i'd concentrate mainly on the engine, but a little suspension couldn't hurt. cosmetically, don't change much, if you don't do everything perfect it won't look good
