i bought just the muffler and got it welded to the 2.50in piping that i had custom made with a high flow cat, it sounds realy loud and has a deep tone and i cant put in to words how it sounds when you punch it and for the power gain i feel the difference in my car even though the muffler i had before was suppose to add power and this seems better and it comes with a silencer, havent put it on yet love the loudness

You've never been to Pacific Raceways? Its in Kent off of some freeway (forgot I'm not too good with directions) Pacific Raceways isn't too far from me, about 10-15 minutes. You can get all the information here http://pacificraceways.com/ and for dyno testing, I don't know where it is really, I just tagged along and rode with them, didn't pay much attention.

You can get any color you like .I like the color mine is ,it looks tight at night like a dark gray. But in the sunlight its a little to silver for me .I like it more gray.AS for the reverse lights i never had em when i first bought the car.But the trunk doesnt come with that option even if i wanted them.So if im backing up get the hell out of my way :o)

Hey dude. how's it going? I saw you left me a message. Yeah, I just bought the muffler, but don't worry, I am getting full custom exhaust piping too, I won't do it the ricer way and just slap a noisy muffler on my car! But yeah, that's cool that you get a bunch of extra parts to play around with. Keep me updated on your progress, and be sure to let me know if you get it lowered!

Hey man, what's up? Haven't talked to you for a while. Yeah, the work on my car has kinda come to a halt for a while. I just moved to michigan, and I have no job right now, so I don't have any cash at the moment. Also, I ordered a muffler from some place online to do a custom exhaust, and they ripped me off. They said my order couldn't be processed, so I kept re-entering the info, and somehow they charged me for the cost of 3 mufflers and I never even got one from them. So yeah...once I get that sorted out and get me a job here, I will probably work on getting my car lowered and getting an exhaust made. But anyways, how are you doing? Got anything new for your Accord?

Altezza's are made from plastic..not glass.so you have to probably take a razor blade..and get in between the glue and the plastic..try using a heat gun to try to get the glue warm so it would be easier..but dont get the heat gun too close or u'll melt it.work your way into the glue with the razor blade..and keep cuting until it comes off..its going to be time comsuming but..it'lll look good in the end.also by the way..do you have the stock tail lights? you know they do look pretty good because of the red on the bottom and the clear on the top..just like the 99-00 civics..what you should do is that the orange reflector out of the stock tail lights..and they should look clean. i like the stock tail lights over the altezza..and for the rims..dont paint it black..it'll look cheap..try going for like a gunmetal or dark bronze..like the color on my si..let me know if u need anymore help with your accord..i know where to get cheap parts..and i'll give you some more suggesstions.

Hey dont get coil overs..if you dont want a really really bumpy ride. Coils are very bumpy without the right shocks. Get springs...it'll feel just like stock ride. the only good thing about coil overs is they dont eat your tires as much as putting springs on. hey and you know with your altezza's...you should heat it up to let all that chrome paint get off of it..take out the clear protectant..and paint the chrome housing like black or gunment..it would look reall nice with that black/carbon fiber trunk look alike..and hey you could paint those stock alloys like gunmetal..just tape up the tires..they sell paint for wheels..the wheel paint will stick and wont flake off like other cheap paint...let me know when u get some new mods on this!!!

Hey man, dont be scared to race cars that you think is faster then yours. You'd be surprise on how many faster cars ive beaten. Just have confidence in yourself. If the other driver doesnt know what they are doing, you'll take an easy win. as for accords, they are heavy, if you want them to be. remove all the unessary things and your problems are solved. And by the way, i should have listed that i have a Brute force clutch installed on my car, it works wonders. People dont think aftermarket clutches add alot of power, but you'd be surprised. People underestimate accords, especially four door ones. I live in a small town with alot of import tuners there, and i gained reputation by racing alot of cars there. The race I'm proud of myself for winning and race i gained most reputation on was, the 2nd gen TALOn TSI. I was for sure he was going to kill me. But i raced it anyways. He was completely stock, But the thing was. his car was an auto. He still had alot more power then my car hard, and plus it was a two door. First race he jumped, so we raced again. Then second race was perfect launch for both of us. When i slammed second my car just pulled by a hair. Then third and he was right there next to me. but my car was up by a fender. when third hit we hit halfway on the strip where everybody was standing, and everyone saw i was in the lead..I could hear his turbo spooling the whole race, at the end of the strip my car was in the lead by only a hair..only a hair. After that race, everybody in my little town would be talking about it. How my four door basic modified accord beat a turbocharged TALON.. So dont UNDERestimate your accord! it can be fast..only if you wanted it to! GOOD LUCK!

Oh yeah, with a Vortech, freeing up the flow will help because it will allow the turbine to spin faster creating more boost or air flow, with the jackson racing it will remain at the same speed. Actually the jr doesn't have a turbine, I don't believe. The inside looks like a tree eater, where you have two rolling pin type deals going in opposite directions to force feed the air into the engine and they are run off the engines pulleys, so it can only go as fast as the engine.

just seeing how ur car is coming!! is it super duper yet!!?/

Posted By: htuner21
Date: 11/12/2004
Got your comment that you left, keep in mind I'm a novice and suggest consulting a pro before making a final decision. There is nothing wrong with the JR supercharger if you don't plan on doing any heavy modifications. Here's how it works as I understand it, it still pushes air through and adds boost, but when you free up the flow with headers, exhaust, etc. you loose power. Why? It utilizes back pressure to create boost. Imagine air being pushed through a straw that is blocked off half way at the end, there would be pressure/boost built up, but when youu free up the flow you loose that, thus loosing power. With a centrifugal supercharger like Vortech it works similar to a turbo, but rather than working off exhaust air flow it runs off the intake air flow, which kind of makes it more efficient than a turbo because it runs off of cool air rather than hot air. Sorry for the wordy explaination, but hope this helps.

I had Altezzas for 3 years already,But my major problem with them were they leaked alot and condinsation and after awhile they even started to get green mold .That was when i gave up on them.I think the red and clear ones would look good on your ride and mine ,i just dont know if thats the way im gonna go.

Posted By: AllShowNoGo :o)
Date: 11/01/2004
Yeah im gonna keep the interior red but im gonna tone it down alittle im adding alot of carbon fiber, so the doors and the pillers , etc. wont be red anymore. The only thing staying red will be front seats ,rear seats ,toddler seat and carpet not floor mats though.Maybe the shift boot and e-brake boot will stay red.As for altezzas there just so 90's Its 2005 almost ,time for a change :o)

Hey I got a question for you; I will be getting a big ass paycheck the middle of next month, I can either get shocks and springs and lower my car, or buy a header, cat, and exhaust system, which do you think I should do? So have you got any new mods lately? Keep me informed of your progress man, later...

Oh and for the wing thing. This is my thought on the whole thing.I started building my ride 4 years ago and all bodykits and big wings were in style. Then 3 years later Fast and furious came out ,then they glamerized everything .They sold out the import scene. Now we got the (NEW SCHOOL ) thing with the younger generation ( JDM ) That is everything stock parts from Japan. All motor. Still Japan cars look phat ,but i need to finish my rice before i start another project. Then i can have the best of both worlds ( RICE CAR AND JDM CAR ) So do what you want with your wing and just be happy and dont take sh!t from no one.

I wasn't that upset about it since that lip sucked anyways, at least when they stole it, it did. All scraped up, cracked in one spot and just the WORST fit ever! Yup, karma will be a punk for them, haha!

Hey man, got another question for you, how do you like that Tsudo exhaust? I saw it on Matrixracing.com and was wondering if it's any good or not?

Posted By: AllShowNoGo :o)

I just found a stock VIS Carbon Fiber trunk for your ride on E-bay $348.00 without shipping.Mine was custom made for $600.00 ,Your right Its supposed to have the inner lights & (REVERSE LIGHTS) Also the lisence plate hole.I had to relocate it.I like the shaved 1 piece look.As for the wing you want for your car ,stick with a low 1 or none at all.The bigger they are they make it look like you want to fly away.Good luck on your ride.Mines getting painted in like 3-4 weeks.I cant wait.

Yeah, I really really want to get my car lowered, the wheel gap looks so bad right now. The only thing is, I want to wait until I have enough to buy springs or coilovers, shocks, and camber correction and get it all installed at the same time, so I may have to wait a while.

Posted By: phixion

Ahh, it's a Civic Type-R style lip. The silver one in the pics is an old one I used to have, same style though. That one was stolen off my car one day at school, just the lip, nothing else though. Anyways, the new (black) one I like better, it fits better, the other was big and gapped on one side, not to mention it had a crack in it from when I creeped up on a planter in a parking lot one day at work. =\

Hey man, at least be thankful that your interior is not 2 tones of blue like mine is...now that is a really nasty interior, lol! Yeah,...I haven't done anything to my Accord lately, because I haven't had any money (my payments on the car are 500 a month), but I actually have a little cash right now, so I think I will order a few small things tommorow, like maybe a shift knob and gauges.

It actually rides really nice with the air. No bounce at all. Nor does it sway like a catty. Its just perfect. And it works just fine for racing too. I clowned on a 2 door integra two months ago in the 1/4. So the air suspension doesnt slow me down any.

okay... i LOVE the eibachs. they're not too stiff, i notice more of the road, and with the strut bar and good tires on top of the eibachs and the blues, it corners quite nicely. i like being able to feel the road, and not bouce like a rubber ball. :) and yes. >:O on cut springs!

Posted By: Invazn08

My bad! those are not hubbies i thought they were! anyways i got an accord to 94-95 model. I'll be posting that up really soon when i get some good pics. But yeah i really think u should go with black rims. Or since those are alloys.. maybe u should paint them black or gunmetal?

Posted By: Civic Si Chick

Thanks for the comments. Yup, that would be me in the pics. I don't think I would want a girl modeling by my car, lol! Anyways, yah it rubs when I make sharp turns. But not to bad cuz I took out the piece in the fenders. Motor gets way dirty from that, but its alright. Laterz!

yea, about the shocks, i got the blue ones... and with the eibachs, they're a little bouncy, but not much... it's a lot worse on the neuspeed race springs... although, those were cut (*%&# people who cut springs... then i got them off a car i bought) so, yea... i'm not familiar with the white ones. :\

Thanks for the comments. Laid out is when you drop all the air out of the cylinders and drive it as low as you can. I bust up front clips all the time, but its well worth it.

Posted By: Invazn08

Is that a 5 speed or auto? Not diggin the tail lights. If u got hubbies u should just take them off. make it look like a sleeper. Accords got alot of potential.

thanks for checkin out my car!! :) yea, get an H22 for that accord... a friend of mine has a coupe... and he's pretty fast... we still have yet to see who's the better driver though. lol looks nice... just like me, get some wheels... i need some too. :P keep updating... you got a nice car there to build up!

Posted By: 4U2NV

I have 17"s on my 98 with air suspension. It doesnt rub at all unless its laid out and even then it only rubs if I turn. Yeah, I do drive it laid out when I want to clown.

Hey bro, nice nice car...just get some rims and you will be set! Hey...I got a question for you, do you have any pics of your carbon fiber gauge trim? I was thinking about a carbon fiber bezel for my Accord, but I was wanting to actually see what it would look like before I put one in. Let me know, and check out my Accord sometime, I'm just getting started!

Posted By: Accordian52

i really have this thing for accords.. youd looks really good!
please dont get a wing, put that money towards an h22!!

Posted By: Malachiman
Date: 08/12/2004
Thanks for the comment. There won't really be a difference in rideability between the two. The height that you have it at now, is that what your staying with? Or are you going to go lower? If lower, I recommend 17's (only my opinion).

Posted By: Malachiman
Date: 08/11/2004
Everyone starts somewhere. Just keep your head up and do it your own way. For rims I have 18's on mine but their a little too big and rub when doing sharp turns so I think 17's are the right choice and alot of people would probably agree that's about as big as you would want to go. I will be going back to 17's later. But then again this is your ride and everyone has their own tastes.
