To Degrease Your Engine Just Pick Up A Couple Of Cans Of Gunk Engine Degreaser. I Have Used It And Always Will When I Need To Clean Up Good Under The Hood. Just Don't Forget To Read The Directions On How To Use The Gunk. Good Luck. Show Some Before And After Pics To See. >>>Later<<<

to install the fog lights on the 90-91 accord bumpers is very easy compared to the 92-93. all you have to do is take off the bumper (to make it easy to work with) and take off the signal lenses. then get a good knife and start cutting off the bottom part (slowly). you should do this without messing it up because the bumper has the markings to cut the plastic part off. on the back of the bumper its has the holes to screw in the fog lights. on the 92 -93 bumper (my accord) it was kinda hard to cut them out since it requires more cutting since its wider but again it has the markings on where to cut it. its just harder to find it since honda made the markings very light. it even has the markings for the intersection lights on the side of the bumper. if you need more help with installing and wiring it up let me know. on the leather seats subject theres a place out here (NYC) that does it for $900 for the front and back seats but not the doors. when i got mines done i had to do the door panels my self. but it was not hard at all. all i needed was the door handles and arms to put on the black leather panels. on your case you would need to paint them silver. but if you don't want to paint them or mess up the SE ones then get some Grey door panels and take the arms off and put it on yours, they wont look that Grey since all accord come with it in dark Grey. if you need help just let me know!

wats up!! hows the car ? I am thinking about getting the Apexi WS2 catback since they are alot quieter. I like for it to be quiet but at he same time be noticeable. Im trying to get my front bumper painted, but now that school has started back, it may be a long while before do that. Man its been a while since i have been on here. Between work and social life i havent had much time to update my profile, but i have been working on my car. I just bought tint, wheels, and some tokico hp shocks because my stock ones blew. Just took new pics with the tint and wheels check em out!!

hey man just want to say thanks for the past comments you left since i never did get to return your reply on your page. i see you got the 1 pc headlights. they look nice but they are for 92-93 headlights. i know this because i just got the 1pc headlights (90 - 91) and the have chrome around the headlights. they are on my new accord that i have (92 EX) and the look great but sometimes i wish i had the ones you got since they are for the car i have. are you still going to do the black and silver interior? what you can do for now is get parts from a grey interior and mix them the way i did . just a thought don't know if you may like it. also i see you got the fog lights but now you going to have those 2 big wholes in the bummper so are you changing it ? check out my new accord and tell me what you thnik!

The Idea of getting your Interior 2-Tone Silver and Black is a really good Idea. Leather is too Expensive, use Vinyl. l I've seen it done on a same Accord color as yours and it looks Really Nice. I Understand how you want to look clean under the Hood too, just keep it some what clean for the Time Being. Use a Engine Degreaser from any Auto parts store. I like to use one that's called GUNK. Just make sure you follow the Instructions..... 3 Cans of those would do the trick for your Engine right now. Your Exterior looks Clean, now Focus on the Interior, Monitors and all that stuff.... My Opinion. Check my Civic out when you get a chance >>>Later<<<

hey wats up! hows everything goin? i see that you restored the fogs, they look good. i was on nspecs page and u told him that you were getting blue bulbs for the fogs. you should get yellow bulbs, they would a whole lot better than blue, especially if you are going for that jdm look, but if you want blue then go for it.(just my .02 cents)

watch the accord in the next few weeks you will see some changes!!

after the hitch is removed, and you do the suspension and electronics; preserve it and get another. you've turned this one into a classic/keeper.

dude, cut out that splash shield at the bottom and u'll suck in even more cold air. u'll feel the difference.

or if possible, just cut the edge close to the radiator and push the bottom part down to scoop up even more aire.

just make sure its not loose our ur tire will eat that shield up.

Posted By: nspec
Date: 03/18/2007
hey man. those lights look great. I think its time to lower ur car already. I was very concerned before i did mine. Houston is probably one of the worst places to have a lowered car. And its not bad at all. I barely ever touch the ground, the only time i might touch it is when i'm exiting or entering a high raised parking lot.

just do it and u'll know what i'm talking about. I got these springs and they're great:

and get some new shocks too. I should've done that when i changed my springs.

and it only takes a few hours.

Thing looks like it just rolled out of the dealership! Very clean. For a 16 year old car, one the nicest I've seen. The seats could use a little TLC, but other than that. Perfect.

Get the engine steam cleaned professionally. Then just a lttle elbow grease to maintain it. I start on one side of the engine bay and work my way to the other side, not moving on til, that one section is spotless. Takes a couple days. Good luck with it. I use Formula 409 and rags, and soft paintbrushes.

You should be very sproud of the work you did on this car. Again very very clean, great lines. Honda really knows how to design 'em.

lower the car, and i know it should look really good. i think you shouuld lower it about 2 inches. i also was going to say something about the headlights, but i can read that you are replacing them with oem. good choice. blackhousing ones wouldnt look too bad neither. the leather interior is rare to find in these models.

those rims are oldschool and you should clean up that engine. the outside is clean but the engine looks a mess. take a lil time to do that and itll keep it running better with less impurities and dust getting in it. while youre at it get some english lessons.

thanks for the cred...if u go for the drop, be ready to mess the lip up bc already w/ mine, i ding it. and the headers help, w/ downpipe and all. preferably look for ceramic headers(i wish i did). take off that thing under ur rear bumper and take off the wind resister deal on ur roof. i would say to change the wheels but w/ the drop, they might look nicer. either than all that, ur rides nice man, good stuff!!!

Posted By: nspec

hey thanks for that info. to be honest w/ u, i'm leaning towards the MR7s. i like those better than the FF7s, because i'm not too sure about how they will look on my car.

hey jon. just wanted to add a comment about the remote doors. Did u meant door poppers?

If u get them dont shave out the doors handles, i've seen some accords w/ that, and trust me they look *****ty.

and also about the header, get the brand which ur cat back system is from, that way it will sound good too.

Hope this helps out man. Later

Ummm.... I just recently put my lowering stuff on and I didnt get to get it alined (cant spell) and I still drove it and I went around a corner and lost control and hit a tree. :( I didnt get anything from insurance because I only had liability. So now I am parting it out. Hopefully I can get some money that way.

And also thanks for the comments. You can find more of those crashed lamborghini pictures on Wreckedexotics.com.

Nice car. The interior is great too. If you have miles on ur car, i think u get an h22. It will cost u about a g or a little bit more. But its worth it. And the turbo kit is only like 800 buck xt. GL

like the car man, if i were u, id buy engine detailer from pepboys and that will remove all the grease without any work. also for the headers, a mugen or dc sports header will do the job.

Hey. Jon.. yeah,, ur right. idont know fromold school. maybe if we meet imsure i might know u, brah. well thanks for the common. liks ur ride. nice color and well groom. thats b@tchin man. but no offense .. why the thin trim moldin on all the doors? u might dont need it..about how to clean ur engine bay.. use Engine Brite Foam degrease. its help well. i use that at my shop. and normally we charge them for cleanin the engine bay for 35 to 40 bucks. let the engine run and hot. turn it off.. if ur cap have the O-ring. u dont need to cover it. if u have perfomance air filter, u need to cover it , brah. then spray the engine brite foam. use 2 cans will be good, let it soak for a while at lease 5 or 10 minutes. u can spray under the engine bay will be nice. so after let it sit for a while after 5 to10 mintues...wa***** with water hose. then air blow it. if u donthave air compressor. then let the engine start and let the engine dry it up for ya. then after its dry. use wd-40 to make it wet on wires and hoses and also wd -40 can easy help to release the bolts any bolts and nuts for ur next project. brah. hope u kno wwhat u doin. thats all i can says. like ur ride and ur common. take care of urself and ur ride... peas and carrots.. from 96 tegra..

Hey bro,

Thanks for the comments. I had my mechanic install the pulleys. I bought them on Ebay brand new and got a killer price, they even came with the belts. I noticed a small difference, mostly during acceleration from 2nd to 3rd. By the way your ride looks clean. doesn't look like a 91. Keep up the good work. check back with mine in about 2 weeks when I install the new wheels.

hey for the guages you going to want to take the dash, radio, vent and all that stuff out so it is easier for you to work with. then you take the gauges and you slide them over the original ones. you are going to ground the wire and then hide the box that houses the rest of the wires and stuff behind the gauges. it is fairly simple but i would take everything out of the way to make it easier.

hey man nice eagle eyes headlights but all clear would have looked better. not feeling that little bit of yellow. Headers are rusted, should have kept the cover on until you got new headers, nice intake though. Mudflaps should come off. nice wheels. what happen to the tint for the front windows?

that pic with the car hit was in january of this year, after i fixed it i havnt had a chance to paint my hood or front bumper so dats why it looks faded in the pics, i jus sold the rims cuz it slowed my car down a lot and also wouldnt allow me to drop my car becuz they were too wide and the offset wasnt made for an accord, and it stuck out of the body...so my plans for now are to paint the hood and bumper and to find some 17s with tires 205/45/17, so if it all works out it should be good. Im also lookin to buy a h22a 2nd gen from jdm-online and swap it with mine, cuz i have to take off my automatic tranny too and swap with a 5spd manuel, u got AIM or sumthin like dat? latez

i got a stock lip, i took one off a 92 EX, so im just gonna add that for now, i still have to paint my hood, bumper, and my passanger side front fender, from the accident i had on it in january. so after the paint and everything is done, im gonna be working on the exhaust to improve it even more maybe take the resinator out too, then im gonna stop spending on the car for a few months in order to save up for a h22a with a turbo set up, and some rims. keep me updated on ur car, peace out

I dont know what you mean, I think if i understand you correctly you want to find ways to make your f22 faster without a swap? If im right and people correct me if im wrong but you should go with turbo. You have seen my turbo before remember. you left a comment. I took it off accidently along with other pictures. Ill post them up when I get my cousins camera. Have you tried a junkyard? Ill email you later.

I used to have a silver front lip, then it got stolen off my car (just the lip as funny as that sounds). i didn't care since it didn't fit correctly anyways, was cracked and just overall was a POS. Then I got the lip I have now. Fits perfect, and looks good. I've though of painting it to match but it scrapes the ground at least once a day and I don't want to bother with it for it to just come off from scraping. I've considered though painting it except for the bottom which I'd leave black, not sure how that would look though...

The side mouldings I've gotten a 50/50 response on. Some say paint them, others say leave them black. I kinda like them black actually, but I do eventually plan to replace them with JDM thin mouldings which I'd also leave black as well. Also a local paint & body shop told me not to paint them since the paint doesn't stick to them very well and will flake off very quickly.

Thanks for the comments!! You have a pretty sweet CB Accord yourself. I like the leather interior and how you've kept the exterior rather clean. The wheels match well with the color and the headlights you have fit the look good too. I understand your worries of lowering. I think you car is fine at it's stock height. Just add some nice side skirts and a rear lip (if possible) to finish off the look, just having a front lip looks kinda weird... Good luck man!

I picked it up from off of another guy close by me. He wrecked his Accord and gave me some good prices on the parts. You can pick up a lip kit from ebay or search for the type kit you want on google. Check some fourms there may be some guys selling some kits on the forums. I know one; it's CB7tuner. They have some nice 90-93 Accords there.

Your car looks pretty good, although I could do without those headlights, foglights, and pinstripes. It looks good, just needs to be lowered a little. A replacement alternative for those foglights would be OEM foglights for your car. They look really nice but they're hard to find, even the replicas are hard to find.

Simple Green works really well under the hood. Just make sure you cover your distributor cap and air filter with plastic before you start cleaning, and you do it when your engine-bay is cool. I usually do it in the morning. Start by hosing down the engine-bay. Then Simple Green the crap out of it. Let it saturate for about 15 minutes. Rinse off. Spot treat stubborn spots with Simple Green and use a tooth brush, brush, and/or a double sided dish sponge for stubborn spots. Rinse again. Let it dry and you should be set. WD-40 works great for dressing hoses and plastic under the hood, apply it with a cloth. I've also heard the 2-Stage engine detailing kit in the aeresol cans works good for cleaning your engine-bay too, but I've never tried it so I can't say for sure. You can usually find that stuff at Autozone, Kragen, PepBoys, etc. Best of luck.

Thanks for checking out my car. How do you like your muffler. I'm looking for a muffler as well and looked at the Magnaflow dual tip but I'd like to hear one on an Accord before getting one. I don't want a LOUD muffler but I'd like to be a bit louder than stock. Let me know if you have sound clips. Again nice clean Accord. I used to have a 90 as well. Your Accord makes me miss it. Keep up the good work.

ahh sup jon jon, hmmm i have a sujestion slam ur car man LOL drop it like its hot man dont worry too much about under ur car ur not speeding all the time are u or at all are u ? then u dont have to worry too much about hiting things cuz ur be in a speed limit or be able to see something ahead of u before u even get a chance to get ur car bumped or hit under the car from what ever it maybe so a 1" and a hlaf or 2" is good let u know i dropped my red car 3" it did fine only i did hit few things cuz i was driven fast so on the silver car of mine its only down to 2" drop so yeah get coil overs since u might get paranoid about the height so that way u can adjust it up or down how ever u want it to be u know and also what ever size rims u have u can always make the car look good with any sized rims since u can adjust the coilovers other than that it looks nice man and yeah cant wait till u get ur red/clear tails that be sick! well peace out.

nice 4-door. thats a clean start. give it a nice drop to set it off.... don't go coil overs. they have a terrible ride. go with a set of lowering springs like i did. they ride great. keep it up. later....

Posted By: BrutalB83
Date: 02/09/2005
I agree with 95delsol, scrap the body kit idea, and just get your ride lowered. If you must do something, then maybe just paint your stock lips and sideskirts to match your paint, or look into like a Wings West lip kit. But don't get a "spider" or "dragon" or "cyber" bodykit or anything like that, that stuff is just ugly and gay....

As far as your rims...I say just keep em for a while, since they are custom pieces...

i say ditch the body kit idea for the car and slam it. there aren't many body kits that look particularly good on that year accord
