1991 Honda Accord SE

Ride Specs

Stock Engine. No Mod's. Trying to make it Stock (JDM) but at the same time looking the way i like it.
no plans for racing it because i have my other SE for that.

All Stock but the best rotors and brake Pads From Duralast. Drilled Rotors will be coming soon just because its more safer.

Every speaker in the car ( 2 Front 2 Rear ) is Pioneer. the twiters on the top is JBL. The radio is Pioneer. I choose to put Pionner because Honda put Pioneer and Alpine in almost all Honda's as Stock. Bose was also in them. but pioneer is my pick.

no sub or amp in the car as of yet(Low on cash) but when ready it will be all Pioneer

Thank for feedback. It will be nicer if you leave inside my comments too. In your comment, sometime I will never able to re-check over yours. Next time you can just copy/paste the comment and in my comments. (smile)

WOW 800 buck for custom leather job.. hmm I do know some place around my home up west coast in Washington state. i will look for one and tell them the specific kind of color. i was thinking about more like black with kind of light grey because I want to match toe body of Accord outside. Grey will be on middle with black on edge like yours. Door panel and dash will work on it later ahead.

Tail, Find one from E bay, they are great deal there. One thing I am planning to change the eagle headlight back to OEM and make it black housing and put blue 10,000K HID in. I am also looking for OEM foglight for this 91 accord. IT really harder to find but patient is a key!

LIP, you can find from E-bay, It is hard to find the great price. It came in black factory color but I had send to my friend for 300 to paint whole black stuff like door panel, runnerboard, front bumper and below grill, rear bumper. He did a great job on all of this. It was still great since 2 years.

If you want more of picture, sure i will do that but I need your e mail or you can connect me aim on GORCLON24 if you have.

i never thought you was trying to be a jerk about it (Blue94EX) sorry if came out loud on my reply. i seen the link you sent me on the 92 - 93 accord trunk lid and the red/clear, it looks nice but it still looks like a civic because there shorter(as you stated before) and because the clear is at the bottom(like the civic). the other link (91Accord SE LIP ) the lights he has im planing on getting soon. i agree with you it looks like the old ones i had and the clear is on the top(close to (jdm). i now noticed why you came about the corner light's not being (jdm) , i forgot to type (JDM STYLE) ....lol

the profile for the other SE is coming soon. no special mods just air intake, racing muffer, and i think a racing chip ?not sure just know that it picks up faster than my other SE.

For the suspension, you could do like the Eibach prokit springs and some decent shocks, or get one of Tokico's kits that has shocks and springs. Both of those options would only lower the car like an inch, maybe an inch and a half at most, and they would improve your handling greatly too. So you could have a bit of a drop to make the car look a little meaner, and have better handling, but not be dumped so low that you are going to need to worry about bottoming out. In my opinion, Accords like yours and like mine (94 sedan) sit way too high from the factory, and I hate that huge gap between the wheels and the fender. The Eibach or Tokico kits would take care of that and put the gap to where it normally is on most other cars, so I think it would be a good investment.

I only suggest it because I think it's a shame when cars have a ton of other mods, like engine, rims, body kits, etc., and have nothing for suspension. If I was going to keep mine I would drop it a little bit, but I'm trying to sell it.

But anyways, just an idea for you, since you said you won't modify it cuz you don't want to bottom out. Later...

Thanks (91Accord SE LIP) The seat's was done by a custom shop for $800 (Front and Back). they normaly go for $1000 - $1200. the shop is no longer open so i can't give you an address. The door panel's are the same as your's all i did was take the tan parts from a tan inter. Accord. I still have my 15 year old leather in the same condition you have it. Those seat's are in the other accord (profile coming soon for that one) because the other SE seats was worn out . i took those and got them custom made. on the tail light issue i hear what your saying, the one's you have are nice and im planing on getting them also. the TYC lights was givin to me as a gift and it does not look to bad ( on my opinion ) on it because i don't have the side moldings painted the color of the car and the (JDM) Mirrors are not painted also ( not in these picture's ). im never planing on lowering it because the other SE had been dropped and craked the oil pan. i love my car to much for the pot holes in NYC to kill the car. on the lip part mmmm..... not really feeling that. i saw your car before posting my car on here and i think IT LOOK'S VERY SEXY !! ... i love what you have done to it but the front bumper.but still looks good. the lights look great. i wanted to ask you if i can send me all the picture's of your accord? i would like to ad it to my future website.

Thanks for checking out My CAR

Sorry if I came across as jerk, wasn't my intention, I was just giving my opinion. And yeah, the tail lights on the blue Accord in the link are kind of funny looking, I think it's because they are actually custom painted "euro style" lights. But you can get red/clear tails that look stock. This car for example:

Rr here's a 90 sedan with the trunk like yours:

And about the trunk swap, I just think the smaller tail lights look cleaner than the huge ones on the 90 and 91 models, but that's pretty much personal opinion.

And yes, the orange corners certainly do look nice, I was just saying that they aren't really "authentic" Japanese pieces, they just mimic the style of the Civic Vision corners.

How about a profile for your other Accord? Any mods on that one? Keep up the good work...later...

Love the look of leather! Must be custom job and how much it cost for all front/rear seat? I am plan to have one someday. My old black leather is wearout due to 15 year old but in good condition. Get rid of the tail! and find like mine red/clear one, they only cost around 60 buck total include shipping cost. Isn't that bad either way. Other than that, It look good, If you are not planning on lower any soon, it will look nicer if you get a MGN lip like I had on my beautiful accord. I have excatly same as yours but much nicer. Check out mine.

Ok Blue94EX : I understand that accord's don't come with TYC rear lights and that there not JDM, but to me they look better than those lights you showed me on the link(not hating just an opinion) because the one's he got the clear looks almost fake , and i didn't paint them because as i said before (low on cash and have a baby girl and wife to surpport ) and plus my old lights are broken with water in them. i will never change my trunk lid because im not trying to make my car look like a civic (like that other accord).

as for the corner lights yea they only come jdm for civic's but they almost look as if it was JDM. as i stated before im low on cash so the one piece headlights ($350) is not on my mind right now. just trying to make the car almost close to JDM with a little bit of mod's in it but nothing to big.

I thank you for your opinion

PS : By any means do you accord owner's (TurboEJ6)think im saying im better, just doing it my way like everyone else. God Bless you and your Accord

If you're going for a JDM theme then I don't know what you were thinking with the tail lights and the corner lenses.

The tail lights are definately not JDM styling in any way, and I think the point of them is to paint the housings to match the car, not just leave them black. For a much cleaner look, I would suggest swapping to the 92/93 trunk and then using the half red/half clear OEM style tail lights.

The corner lenses aren't JDM style either, at least not for an Accord. The orange corners are supposed to look like the orange corner lenses Vision made for the 92-95 Civics, but they never made any corners for the Accord. JDM style for a 4th gen Accord would be the one piece stanleys, with the corner lenses and the headlights being all one piece.

Check out this car, he has the real JDM headlights and the red/clear style tails, looks very clean in my opinion.
