hey beth hmm yeah i agree with the guy about the gaugel cluster EX should have the RPM but hmm dang I really wonder what the heck was goingon with ur car though but at lest it runs. heh and takes you places cuz if you look at jennys ride her DX its same as urs but the EX and Si has both speedo and RPM gauge on it. if you can pop the hood openand u should see the Vin number sticker on the fender on top where the hood and fender meets and also if you took off your grill it might or shouldhave a vin number on top of the front bumper althought u can check all the vin number in all the panels and match themwiththe dash VIN when i do see you I can checkit as well. all my panels match I had checked it b4 I had boughtit cuz my red Accord was a totels title which i wasnt sure in the first place what it meant so my mistake on my first Accord but the second ones the best. well catch you laters

btw how coem you dint add jenns new Si profile and longs too ? and san sang u know san sang right ?

EX... Did you swap out the gauge cluster at all? You have the DX cluster in your dash, all EX's came with a tach from the factory.

There are 2 reasons why it could have a 99-00 front end.

1. It was in a front end wreck and they decided to just got with a 99-00 front end

2. They just wanted to do a conversion.

There is no doubt that your front end is a 99-00

I also forgot to mention that the front bumbers on the 99-00 have the little areas on each side of the bumber where you can put in fog lights.

Get a car fax on it to see what it says. www.carfax.com

I have looked at cars with a clean title and a clean carfax but I could tell they had been in major wreck no question about it.

yeah.. jjmajed pretty much got it cleared for ya. i had questions bout mine when i got it, cuz the dealership says its a 2000, and some parts claim that year on it, but i also noticed somewhere near the engine it said 1999..but the 99-00 are the same, and since more parts came out to 2000, i stuck with sayin its a 2000...which it prolly is, they might have just used 99 parts to make the 2000. i dunno...im not a genius about this stuff tho..lol...plus you look like you got the 99-00 headlights, cuz the older models have like this bubble that sticks out the lense on the corner, when the 99-00 have like this small square shape thingthat slightly sticks out on the corner of the lense :)

yeah your front end is a 99-00 and your tail lights are from a 96-98 but to know if the car is really a 99-00 look at the air switches and they should all be knobs you turn not the ones you slide. The ones you slide are the 96-98 models and the ones you turn were produced with the 99-00 models. Also look at the side of your driver seat to see two things on the bottom that you can twist to adjust comfort. This again was added only to the 99-00 civics.

And also the rear bumber should flare outward on the bottom not inward. Inward=96-98 and outward=99-00, but I cant tell from the pics.
