I have 2 subs PUNCH and i was wondering .. i duno anything about amps and subs so .. my question is, how many watts does my amp need if my subs have 400 watts each ? i want it so that my song is UNDERSTANDABLE meaning i dun want my song to drowned in my bass lol , i juss want it to sound nice . so all in all ... how many watts do i need in my amp to sound good on 2 subs 400 watt each ?

400watts max power or rms,,, im guessing rms will be around 150 if 400 max,, so a 300-500watt RMS amp would do it nicely,,, monoblock or 2 chanell will do.,

ampz have gain controlers on then so you will be able to control the sub power from there

If yo get a good amp it will have a bass controller that u can turn the bass up when you want your subs loud and turn it down when you wanna hear the music but with your subs you should have to really worry about not hearing the music unless they are 15s
