Well, you guys saw the other car that i was gona go with for $800, ( http://hondashowoff.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12117 ) and to tell you the truth, it was a piece of crap lol. but i am proud to say, that after 3 weeks of searching, i have finally found my new car. it is a beautiful Red 1995 Honda Civic Coupe.Got it for $1,500 Canadian, there is virtually no rust on the body at all, NONE! the inside has some durt and crap from the owner, but nothing is broken, or needs to be replaced. the Clutch, tranny, and engine are all fine, with the exception of the engine burning a little bit of oil. i took it out for a drive, and it was (for lack of a better word) perfect. the only concern that i have is that the clutch seems to be a little easy to push in, almost like the cord is loose or there is no spring. i got him to lift it up on the hoist for me so i could look underneath and there is no rust, holes, or crap/gunk anywhere, it is beautiful, but i think they put an oil undercoat on it, it was greasy looking under the engine, anyways, ill be adding some pictures tomorow when i pick it up.

also just went out and got myself a shift knob, i don't like all those riced out multi colored ones, i like it simple, i went with a threaded Skunk2 Shifter knob made of stainless steel with a gun-metal finish ( ps: the sticker will not be going anywhere near my car. i hate stickers )

Me and a buddy also went out and got our selves a couple of jacks too

* 2¼-ton trolley jack with two ratchet-style jack stands
* Trolley jack features internal safety valve, saddle, lift handle
* Swivelling rear wheels, heavy-duty steel frame with baked enamel finish
* Jack stands feature ratchet-style locks to prevent slipping
* Heavy-duty, angled steel bases
* Meets ANSI requirements

congratulations! i suggest you get the shifter that goes with that knob. i've got the same knob and absolutely love the feel of my shifts!

you'll like the skunk2 dual bend. it's about an inch shorter than the stock shifter and the shifts feel very crisp as opposed to stock.

Congrats! As they say....good things come to those who wait. So it's nice to know you turned down the other civic and got something 10 times better for not much more money.

The jack has potential, I guess start with some paint, the body looks good:)
Love that shift knob! I have been eyeing the same one for a while, the one I have now is chrome w/red numbers and is the same shape. Love the feel, one of these days Imay get the SK2 knob.

thats a great looking coupe man, sounds like you got a great deal on it.

i'd take it in and see the extent of that rust though.
