Hey whats up?! Ya, I put a lot of stuff on. Hehe. :) I changed my mind long ago about getting Tein. I went with PIC's and they are an extremely well performing coilover. It was a toss up between PIC and AMR, went with PIC because they were established already and AMR's are still in their infancy. If you follow the link towards the end of my "Personal Comments", you'll get a little more detail on the setup. Take it easy dude, nice to hear from one of the "old timers" :P.

well thanks bro, the JDM D15B SOHC is a fantastic motor... very reliable for everyday and track days... has 130 whp... and of course i will add more too it... and in about the next 4-5 years from now... im plannin on getting a civic type-r motor... its just a matter of having patience and saving money...

Your car has a lot of parts that aren't generic. You put the essentials where necessary. It seems EK9 soul has an inflated ego and has become wrapped up in the whole JDM bandwagon deal. Have you heard the phrase, "JDM is the new rice"? A true tuner and enthusiast with automotive passion will not limit themselves to narrow mindedness.
Pursuing JDM only parts is fine, but to have an attitude where other parts are inferior based solely on their country of origin speaks volumes of ones personality. His car has a ton of nice parts and it's very clean, but the image is very "cookie cutter", and lacks originality. It seems his criteria is JDM or nothing at all, and it seems the mentality continues to, "my car is better than yours because I have all JDM parts, I must be better than you." It's an immature attitude. What is the main influence on one's personality? One's upbringing, particularly parents. I'd hate to see what would become of his personality should he receive a substantial increase in pay. $0.02

So are you calling me a hypocrite??...I guess i am..But Mugen is the only exception!...Id have to say Mugen is a combination of both Fashion & Function & worth every penny...BUT sway bars & strut bars are 2 different mods but each do its part in suspension upgrades..however on my ride strut bars do perform & work well for my ride...so id have to disagree w/u there brotha...perhaps cuz my car is a lot lighter than urs?? An auto is heavier than manual for one..& rotas are not ultra light weight wheels & u have no cf hood soo maybe thats why u dont feel the upgrade of a strutbar??..i dunno man..
You have a perfect civic pretty much its sweet lots of money dumped into it.But it is all money well spent.If my car was a 1/4 as good as yours I'd be happy.You do some really good work, how long have you been doing mods to this car?Well good work keep it up.
Thanx for stopping by again Matt. I replaced everything at 90,xxx. As far as tranny coolers, I need to get my transmission serviced soon. I'll be doing that before the cooler. I was also considering a trans swap, I know, I know, you're an auto advocate. But they do rob 5-10% more power than a manual. I can't get into 1st if I wanted to do a WOT acceleration from 20. It's a slushbox, I hate it =P , haha, no disrespect to auto owners though, hey, I'm tuning one myself. If I ever get around to doing that I won't be needing the cooler, and I'd probably invest in an aftermarket radiator too, although cooling capacity is quite fine in my now. :)

i think the next thing u should do is get rid of that blue wireloom! it serves no purpose! and do something fancy to the valvecover too while ur at it. im building up an ek hatch right now..hopefully done before spring. U NEED a Y8 head and mani! these are just my opinions if i owned ur car, but if u dont like them, tell ME WHY WHY WHY?
geez...that's a super long auto-x course. sounds like a fun one though. best times of the day for the event i went to were low 40's, i managed a 50 second run at my best. That's awesome that you beat out your cousin's wrx. that's what i love about auto-x. the most powerful cars aren't always the fastest..

hey matt. Auto-x was a blast. I had a lot of fun and can't wait to run again next season. Those pics are from my first time. Unfortunately, that was the last auto-x of the season here in rochester, so i'll have to wait till next spring to go again. meanwhile i'll have time to convert to a manual transmission and upgrade my wheels and tires.
your a life saver, thanks for the hydroplane info, we have a LOT of wet weather here, so wet grip is very important.

Couple of more questions tho, would the stiffer type flex be ok for everyday street driving (lots of pot holes around where i live) or would it be too bouncy.
Also do you carry alot of passengers in the back how low does it go fully loaded (i sometimes cary 4+ lugage in the car) any scrubbing issues.
and finaly is there a big difference in your tyres (do the yokos wear out to fast to use as a street tyre) what cars can your setup beat round a corner.
any tires i buy will be a massive improvement on the ultra budjet hydrophobic nankang hydroplaning specials that came with my rims :)
i beleve that the civic has potentialy the best sport compact chassis ever.

I might not be gettin that supercharger anymore. my clutch is really shot. i might have to invest in a stage 2 setup. wich is about 420 on ebay,so its gona set me back. I duno if a clutch is under warranty, caus if so i would just get it replaced at Honda, but i duno. I had no idea there was a sequal to initial D... Is it live action? let me know. i want to get it!!!!

hey, well i guess i got an answer myself about the grille piece. i just got all my parts. and the grille just slides right into place of the bumper. theres like these little clipes on the mottom of the grill that slide underneath this area on the bumper. so i guess its fine like that, then screw the top onto the car where it goes.
i guess it doesnt need that extra molding piece like the orignal one does. i put pics of my parts. not that great of pics IMO. the wind was blowin like crazy, so it kept falling over. and the lighting was a little wrong.
I just cant seem tp fit the pieces on right, it fits perfect from the middle section of the lips. theres screws it came with, but no screw holes. and the rear lip came with screws and 2 bracket like pieces. i dunno, i was just confused and couldnt think earlier. im sure i can make it go on.

heh, thats cool. i ordered type r "style" front and rear lips for my car and noticed yours were the "style" ones too. is there really much of a difference from the actual jdm civic type r lip to the style ones?

AF ratio gauge alone is $300!!. sigh!. check out the new stuff on my ride. i just put the V2 intake in. wow what a difference compared to the regular aem short ram. holla at me...

I would get the spoon calipers if i can't get the j's racing one. I want to get away from the white and blue cuz my buddy that i bought the car from he loved blue but i'm more down to keep the car white and red so i want to get the j's racing calipers instead to match the car. Ya I'm worried that it might not fit. If so then you know what that means.... NEW RIMS!!!! hahaha

yeah it works so much better man.............it grinds if i power shift but if i take it to redline then just push the clutch in and take my time to shift its perfect......so i got it all good now....atleast ill be able to save my tranny man so im stoked
ok so i added the honda MTF............................its a lot better but it still grinds a little bit....but when i was driving home last night i took it for one last spin and it didnt grind at all.....................................................................so like does the transmission have to get use to the new fluid or something?

oh yeah and i just bought the honda mtf and gona put it in tomorrow.....now could i just fill it up through the vss?????? cause i here that people do it that way....they drain it then fill from the vss....and does it matter if my car is jacked up? or should i put it down after i get that drain plug out?
yeah im hoping its just the fluid......because when i first got the car which was in december it didn't do it....then iput a short shifter in it and started doing it only into 3rd.......but if i do it hella quick its not that bad of a grind but if im at high rpms and try and shift slowly it grinds.....so it kinda sucks when im racing i have to either wait or just slam it in 3rd.......but how much does it ususally cost for a synchro and gear rebuild?

ok so heres a question for ya....my 3rd gear is starting to grind at high rpms....now everyone tells me its my synchro that is starting to go out...so i went and bought some fluid for it.........now i tried adding it to the fill in hole and it wouldn't go in...soi put it through the air breather thingy......it made a little difference....now heres the question.....should i get some gm synchromesh? or just go to honda and buy there tranny fluid there?

thanks bro but they are mounted to the rear seat harnesses and they hold pretty tight. i'm going to be getting takata seat belts in the future. If anything they would be stopped by the holes of the seats.

Being that you seem to have a good grasp of all things suspension, I had a quick question for you. Will front and rear strut braces make a difference in handling for me, with an otherwise stock suspension?? I can't lower it till the warranty's up, but that will be the first thing I do when it runs out. For now, I'm looking for things that won't void it, that may make minor improvements in handling. Could you recommend a reasonalby priced one?? You have a hella setup here. I'm jealous. BTW, new wheels will be here, and hopefully on the car 8/2, pics to follow. Check my profile in a week or two.

July 27 (every other thursday), theres gonna be a G35/350z meet in Chino Hills. Come by and we'll chill, and get some food. Its a small meet, of mostly G35s and 350z's but all cars are welcome. well, the bodywork turned out great, so i guess it is sort of a show car, but this thing is quick, so i would like to take it auto crossing on the weekends, if not take some cones to wal-mart. =) but like my other civics i bought for a steal, this si i almost stock for $8000 wit only 65000 miles. yea, yo das kool u really know yah suspension n das kool, thankx fo da comments on my DA, if only the funds came in faster, but anways bad news struck yesterday i was messing around like an idiot and got too happy with my no rev limit ECU and i revved a little too hard a few times and i think it snapped sumthing, smoke started coming from the head, possible blown head gasket but i will see the damage come monday when i tow to da shop. All of my Tires were kinda worn out but my Right Front Tire was worn out nasty and I was going to wait Till next week, but something told me "Let's go NOW to the Tire shop"........ I had that Experience where a Tire blew on me in the Freeway, Not pretty. It's kinda like a rush but not really =\ Anyways, I bought 4 brand new tires at a buck fifteen a pop. Oh well.. You have no idea, that stuff is a pain in the @ss to tune up and line out all the bugs. But it was worth the experience and it was kinda fun to learn all about that stuff. It does drive like its on a rail but I don't think it can hang with a EVO or a STI.....yet. Never the less my friends are trying to talk me into putting "Bags" on it but I don't want bags cause they handle like sh*t.

Thanks for the comments. I intend to keep most of the engine stock until I get my H22. I will then get all the other fun stuff installed into it (i.e. cam shaft, pistons, flywheel) and possibly turbo. Must save up about $10,000! My wife is crossing her fingers for me.

And for max. stopping power, ceramic brake pads with the stock or upgraded rotors, NO CROSS-DRILLED, they will crack and send you into a wall!!! good luck racing

when i was considering an sti or evo i think they mentioned if they know you were racing it even not at a track and messed up your tranny or engine thats on you. normal use is what they cover. my car inspires more dangerous driving tho. it can handle more and is forgiving with the aid of traction control and other braking help gadgets in the car.
Oh no, Dont get me wrong, dot4 and dot5 are great racing brake fluids, because of all the breaking that goes on during a race, just that out in the city, since dot4 and 5 have higher viscositys and higher boiling points and such, meaning they compress at higher tempertures then dot3, you will get a spongy pedal and the braking system will not be as effective, making it harder and longer to stop. Just when you use dot4, make sure to bleed every air bubble out as possible, because air=water in brake fluid, and dot5 silicone based fluids are for high performance cars, like if your going to race at le mans.

dude id rather have a bit of both to make it more fun honestly power/handling. my car i have rite now is fast but seems a bit unstable and heavy. i dont know how good it would be at racing and its supposed a sports sedan. all i know is that its suspension is hard and you feel bumps that would prob be soaked up by bmws etc.
I guess you can argue it both ways whether it is driver skill or car that makes you go fast around a track. It's just that most experienced race car drivers say that car is the #1 factor that gets you quicker times, taking into consideration the fact that there aren't HUGE gaps in driver skill when you reach higher levels of competition. In lower levels of competition, driver skill varies greatly and so there are times when you see "an EVO TRYING to keep up" with a 100hp civic or "STOCK Civics BEATING modded Z06 Vettes". Thus, I am assuming that you compete at a level in which most of the drivers cannot yet drive out the potential of their cars (i'm not saying that's a bad thing since everyone has to start there). You will understand this philosophy once you reach higher levels of competition. At those levels, you will see that although you may be able to keep up (to some extent) in the corners, a higher performance car will be able to brake later into the corners, pull away at the exits, or leave you behind on the straights. When you experiece these frustrations, you will at last realize that although you and your opponent may have relatively equal driving skills, the difference in the cars' performance is giving the opponent quicker lap times.

I am actually Japanese and I return to Japan very often, so I spend most of my time at places like tsukuba, motegi, and ebisu. I'd be glad to get back on that. Let's just put it at this, I don't drag race, therefore HP is the least of my concern. I could really care less how much I have. Driver skill will ALWAYS surpass how powerful a car is anyways. But unless you auto-X or road race, you'd never know or understand that simple fact. ;) There is A LOT more to a good car than just HP. well first off your car is far from what you make it out to be yeah you do have some nice suspension add ons but that does not make your car that cool! i am very experienced in hondas and your statement about the b16 not being a better motor your crazy the b16 is a very good motor and way better than any d series by far!! yeah i have a d16a6 motor and yes i can beat alot of b16's with just the homemade upgrades i have but if you were to do the B16 like i did the d16 then the B16 will still be stronger and will still outrun the d16 anyday in any type of race!! you also said that a turbo B16 would not help you anymore than a d16 in auto x your wrong your accel times would be so much greater then if you only had a d16 so there for you would obviously get much better times! just think if you and a turbo b16 were going at it with all of the same suspension upgrades you have you cannot tell me that you would run better auto x times than the b16 i would bet money that your car would be left in the dirt possibly upside down sorry for sounding so negative but you should wonder a little harder about your research!! please feel free to look at my car and tell me that it looks like sh!t cause i know!! but as soon as the new pics come up you might wanna go out and buy yourself a crx like mine cause i know for fact that the rex will leave your coupe far behind!!!! see ya

I didn't feel like paying the over priced price for an Si at the time, not to mention the B16, it's NOT a better engine, more powerful yes, but it's not BETTER! That's the misconception with pansy ass swappers. They think because it has more power it's "better." WRONG! ;) Lastly where have I spent so much on the engine so far? Point out something I have that cost a lot that I don't know about or didn't list... o_O Think before you speak d00d! from my civic that had 100 something hp it was hard getting used to 260. im still not used to it. the cars steering is heavier, it brakes much harder, and doesnt run out of power at 80mph. i did like the civics whip-ability if you know what i mean and lightning steering and you could park it anywhere.

Actually he advertised he "[i]put[/i]" the "[i]Volk Stickers[/i]. I'm familiar that Volks have a certain way the lug holes line-up with the spokes. On Volk's they don't really line up with any spokes. On Rota Grids, the bolt holes do line-up with the spokes. I called him on his valve cover saying it was the standard VTEC cover. But I could've been wrong on that because, if my information is correct, pre-97 ITR's had that valve cover. phixion check out this movie called Initial D, the live action version. Its an anime in Japan thats really awesome but they made a live action movie version. I bought it on ebay for like 10 bucks awhile ago. i think u would get a kick out of it. blows fast and the furious out of the water. I think the new fast and the furious movie got its ideas from this series.

i want awd or rwd with power. a v-6 or turbo is fine but v-8s are heavy and thirsty. i also need something that can haul some bambinos soon as i c im getting older and need money for other things. with any other car i get i want it to be sporty already so i wont have to do the suspension and other stuff. i told my wife all i would do was drop a aem cold air intake in it and a sub if needed.

yea.. i love the way that my exhaust sits.. ive riped it clean off twice.. and had it fixed.. but its not going to be able to be fixed next time.. cause theres so much welds on it.

It's cool to see a quick capable car with no chrome wheels, 2 foot high wings, well, you get the point. The real style is in keeping things looking simple, and subtlety is definitely underrated.
VP stands for "value package." Its a DX, plus cd player, AC, and in this case, side airbags. Locks, windows and transmission are all manual, which is good, considering all the issues I had with the power windows on my last car.

Very functional. Nice job on the subframe reinforcement. Nice choice on sway bars and tie brace and shocks. You really need some center caps for those black rims, I mean i dont like black wheels on your silver car, but just some black caps to hide the axle nut will help so much for aestetics. naww i been planing this type of swap since the k20 too exspensive. plus since im going to school. when i got this motor it had oil all over the motor since it was removed from the 97 gsr. after the swap was done "i even put on my profile that the motor was getting clean and the engine bay too" that's what i did. i knew these people from speed image, gave me a ITR valve cover and spark plug cover. since the old valve cover was chipped and missing a spark plug cover. swapped over the new goodies, and clean down the engine block for it was dirty. i just resprayed the OE headers with high heat aluminum. since the rusty look was kinda gay ahaha:P i had made corrections earlyier that i made a mistake of the cam gear brand and i fixed it.
lol it does look like another car, i say the same ***** when i look at it now. im trying to get some red or blk door seals for the doors

Actually for me it wasn't enough. I wanted to enter the car for competition. See i'm not looking to make my wagon a racing car. I just wanted a little bit of everthing, but mostly loud music. But now i am selling the system to downgrade for now. I need the money.
this ignition thing turned out to be a hot topic. mach1cars.com is where i get all my advice and parts. he recommended i aslo get an under pulley system that would give me a gain up to 12 whp thru the whole powerband. the msd is cheaper but gives results that we seem to be unsure about. i didnt c any results from my nology wires so far.
I was meaning the underdrive pulley just for the powersteering (sorry). When you install the JRSC, it will run off of your altenator belt, and replacing your harmonic balancer. Also, if you go with the boost upgrade it will be turning your altenator a lot faster than stock. That way you wouldn't have to worry about your battery being drained. Anyways, keep up the good work!!

You know, when I pulled out my dash to get it done Red,, I noticed that the passenger airbag wasn't even there!!!!! I flipped when I found out.. I don't really care if I remove my factory steering wheel,,, I want to finish the whole Red & Black theme in my Interior!! yeah, i'd love a 2.5rs. a guy who runs one at the local SCCA autocross events has me inspired to get one. lol. i was also looking at e36 M3's but the price for parts is probably a little more than what i want to pay. so that dream will have to wait a while.
If your an accomplished DIY'er by yourself you should be able to install it in 2 days or less. The only thing that took me so much time was installing the boost upgrade kit; mostly the wiring for the boost timing controller. Over all after the kit is installed you wont be disappointed.
I believe that you have a good base to start on with your engine not having AC. Also, I would probably lose the power steering or at least go with an underdrive pulley. Then you would be able to tell a big difference.

I'm in sunny San Diego buddy. As far as the ignition upgrade not being a necessity, I don't think it is either, that is, if you stay all-motor. I'd look definitely into upgrading the ignition for boosted duty.
After I saw that MuffinMan was running an external coil I was intrigued about how he had accomplished it, so I asked him. But I didn't get a reply. Then big K soda came around and I read in his profile that he had an upgraded ignition too.
I don't know exactly what he's running but he still has an internal coil, although aftermarket. From what I've researched these past couple of days Summit is the only place you can get a high-performance internal coil (although MuffinMan claimed to be running a Skunk2 at one time).
I've also gathered that all you need to do to run an external coil is get the right harness, or follow a wiring guide from an aftermarket hi-perf. ignition company. I'm planning to run a mix of ignition products. NGK Blues or Magnecor's, with an MSD Cap & Rotor, NGK Iridiums, and a Jacobs I.C.E. Hey phixion, I know what a N/A D16 is quite capable of power. I just don't think it was what he wanted as far as power. It is true They're are prob less parts to buy to upgrade the sohc. I don't believe that N/A is best for a sohc either. It is true that boost creates a lot of pressure but N/A apps would actually cause more stress. N/A cars tend to make more power up top at higher rpm. Especially with motors with bad R/S ratio's and high rpm, it would cause way more stress revving so high than a motor with higher boost at lower rpm. It's true he could make some power with a sohc but what it seemed he wanted, he would be better off with boost. Not saying it can't be done, for the amount of power you get with the amount of money you spend, I just think you're better off with boost. Just my 2cents

Whoever that is that posted (hate when it doesn't fully log you out) you've been watching WAY too many movies. The wires are an OEM replacement, they won't doything more than assure a clean constant electrical flow from the distributer and rotor cap, to the spark plugs. No performance gains from them, sorry.

Yeah you're right about the Prelude being offerred with a sequential transmission. I doubt that it would easily match up to the the 3.0-liter V6 in his Accord though, so that's why I told him that I don't even know of any transmissions he could use. I was trying to think of trannies that would bolt up fairly easily, and as far as I know the F/H series isn't compatible at all with any of Honda's V6 engines...I could be wrong though...but I'm guessing it wouldn't easily work...

it was actually a very short run, probably from 10 - 50 mph, i'm pretty sure i would have beaten him if it was a long run, but that dam expedition kept up the whole time

hey phixion, i gotta question for u. is there a quick n cheap way to gain more hp, other than intake and fuel injector? I'm really tired of my cars performance. Getting the big parts is just not under my budget right now. I could not even beat my an expedition.

yeah lol...i did blow the piston through the block. i just drove to get some water for my nephew and it wasn't even five blocks away and the engine just gave out. but i am getting a new motor soon in probably within the next month or so. hint: it's gonna be BAD@SS! :)

wsup, civics lookin clean as always, is that pic with the bridge in the background taken in pasadena by any chance?
i am lowered like 2 inches in the front and raised 1 inch in the back. the hood scoop is only going to be around twenty dollars and i know how to fiberglass so ill mount it myself it will help the engine stay a little coller and run ia little better. i also like neons just a personal preference i guess. but any ways i like your ride it needs some tint though.

thanks for the comment, i mean with all the ignition stuff and throttle body spacer i was just thinking if i do all of that then the small increase in HP will add up a little so I dunno, dont have a whole lot of money so i cant go out and buy a turbo or anything, but thanks for the info. Later

Oh, remember I inquired about your header dilema? I forgot to mention that there are a couple of options for a direct bolt-on for the D16y7. EBay brand, Ractive, and OBX. Not the very best in choices, but they should provide a decent gain over the factory exhaust manifold.

well i was racing someone last friday and it started knocking and i was just like wtffff ...... so i took it home and saturday morning i checked the oil and well there wasnt any .. not one drop on the stick .... i was like WTTFFF cuz i had just checked it like a week before and it was fine (and i'm realllly good about changing the oil cuz i change it every 2500 miles)... my car has never burned oil so i have no idea where it went cuz there was no leaks when i changed it ...... so i changed the oil that saturday and headed to work ...... well i didnt make it to work haha ... i have a pic of the crack in the block i'll post up.

thanks for the compliment i missed that mistake on my part preciate it though done a lot of work to ur car looks nice i remember when my car was that color miss it sometimes cause the scratches of bieng a daily driver dont show as bad but much props on the car though simple and clean is what makes it stand out

yeah the seats are very great quality, some may think that leather racing seats are slippery because of the materialused , but its not. i love em alot they really do get the job done. thanks for the comment

Hey Matt. Honestly, it was a huge pain in the butt to get to the two bulbs back there. actually this was my second attempt at it. i tried doing it a few months before and gave up because i couldn't get the climate control out to replace the bulbs.
This time, i followed the instructions from H-T up until the climate control. from there i kinda went on my own. I was able to remove enought screws to get the faceplate off and replace the bulbs without disconnecting the whole unit. I ended up putting it back together and leaving out a bunch of screws for the next time i have to open it up. lol.
LED's should look nice. i thought about buying those instead of the bulbs. i really would like my gauges to light up like the TSX gauges. How do you like the overlay?

do a mini me swap, drop in a y8 vtec head on this sucker, and you should be good to go. jrsc are no good, you can use your current manifold, get an adapter plate and make a custom turbo kit, for anywhere from 400 and up. my buddy build his turbo kit for $380. homemadeturbo.com . good luck with future mods, i still got lots of work to do to mine.

yo bro, my engine's a rare Vtec modified 24valve DOCH.Its called the frankenstein.By Honda.Less than 30 engines left in the world.It's powerful.Doesn't need a turbo to play the big boys.There's a vtec super booster type "37" attached to the engine.The brakes are modified brakes with metal imbedded into rubber to give better braking at high speeds considerably above 170mph.Doesn't wear off easily.Does't heat up fast.Your brake discs must be modified to the honda S2000's to accomodate the brake type.

thanks for commenting, actually i havent even had a computer tune yet so no dyno #'s yet, the machine shop who built it said somewhere in the range between 190-210 but yeah im sucking and smelling like gas for now so a tune is deff. on my to-do list.

You must not know about those manifolds he has, there is over 30 countless stories about those manifolds cracking, mainly because they were built as a show header aka the obx header. The runners on the manifold like i said have a wall thickness that is thinner than a penny. Look at a penny, the wall thickness on my manifold is 1/8" steel coated with a ceramic coat, one section was added to improve flow and relocate the turbo and is not covered in this coating. As for my setup being temporary, this is how it will look until i can afford to do more work on it, im not hating on you, or that kid. im just stating the facts, ive done my homework and i know a *****ty manifold when i see one, mine was shop welded together because it was custom, his was machine welded and pumped out thousands by a minute. it wont be long before the welds, supports, or even the walls crack

Wow, sounds like it was a horrible accident, I'm glad you'realright and that the impact was on the passenger side and not the driver's side and that you didn't have passengers with you in the car when it happened because they could have been seriously hurt :'( I know what you mean, I would be really mad if someone side swipped my car too. Was this a young teenage girl who was an unexperience driver? How did it happened and on what street in San Gabriel? I was involved in a rear-end collision on W. Valley Blvd. about 2 years ago, this man driving a Honda Accord hit my Mazda Protege which I was driving at the time and it was completely hs fault he even admitted fault and said he thought I was stillmoving when I was completely stopped at a red light lol and he is also an insurance agent too haha :D So he told me his insurance company would paid for the damage and am glad I didn't whiplash from being rear-ended lol that was funny, it made me smile :D I initally called 911 for the SGPD, but the operator said they would come out to the accident scene if it's was only a minor accident, unless someone was seriously injured or killed and needed an ambulance. How did you get the CHP to come to the accident scene to take down a report for you do you have a friend who works for the CHP and what number did you called for the CHP is it 911 too lol :D 2 weeks is a long time to wait for your car to be fixed, did her insurance paid for car rental during that 2 weeks too? and isn't $2500 dollar enoguh so you don't have to paid the deductible? i know what your saying about the wings drag and all but ive had mine on almost a year and i have know dents or risen spots in my trunk but before i put t on when i got to about 120 or 125 the rear ennd would start to sway side to side and ever since i put it on its solved that problem so it makes me feel muck safer at that speed so thats why ivw kept it up there so long and me and my buddies go to the local drag strip like every week and i can tell alot of down force is applied because used to when i drop it into second it wouldn;t bark but know it dose so it helps on this application but your point is well proven your ride is a good for the type racing it looks like you do

anytime. actually the bulb thing is my next project. i ordered some red bulbs from some site i found and i'm gonna change out the gauge cluster and climate control bulbs over Thanksgiving Break in a couple weeks. Goodluck with the grounds, it's not too bad, only crappy part is crimping the terminals to the wires.

how are the piaa super plasma gt-x bulbs? im thinking about getting them but theyre not dot approved. i wont get pulled over or anything rite?
hey matt. for my ground wire kit i choose to use 8 gauge wire because i though working with 4 gauge might be a little difficult because it's so bulky. i used gold plated terminals from Best Buy, like $2.00 a box. As far as noticing a difference, there is some. my lighting seems to be a little brighter, in general the engine feels a little smoother. In general is a nice and cheap electrical upgrade. i know on higher end cars it even adds horespower from what i understand. but really i just did it because i was bored in the dorms last winter and needed a project while 4 feet of snow surrounded my car. :-P
i'm thinking about upgrading it by replacing the 3 main grounds which i left stock. i'd use 4 gauge wire for that though.

smoking evos sounds kinda silly to me. even if they have to brake at a turn and you dont they handle extremely well and have power to spare and will still pass you. i think thats crap that you can take them. comparing civics to evos is apples to oranges.

I ended up winning an integra SE/GSR rear sway bar for 10 bucks. i think i'm gonna buy the endlinks from Beaks. Do you know of any other LCA manufacturers u'd reccommend? otherwise i'll probably just get the Omnipower model from jhpusa.com

Get the JRSC. I installed mine recently and it's definately worth it. Especially for autocrossing.

You're all performance...very nice bro ! Not much of a show car but it's not really important. What matters is you're having fun driving your car not just for display. For me I liked the way you set it up no doubt about it. That is one of my plans... be active in the racing events here in Alaska. But not before my car is all souped up. Keep up the good work and driving bro.

I do think the red looks good, now I just need to find the time to get the rest of the grille's painted red. I'm at a standstill right now, I'm graduating in a few weeks and have been working on my final project. Hopefully it pays off. Take care.
No new mods lately unless you consider a new battery a new "mod." haha! Replaced the original battery that came in the car from the factory 6 years ago. yeah, last me that long even with my foglights and audio system setup, and even after the system drained out the battery once about a year ago... :-x Pulled off the AC Autotechnic oil filter block adapter so i can toss it through AC's window (only 10 miles from me) because that part is a useless POS that did nothing for me but waste away about a half quart of oil due to leaking from it's crappy gaskets and over-sized design. =\ I'm custom making a hookup kit that will mount to the stock oil pressure switch bung in the engine block and via a TEE piece, allow me to retain the stock pressure switch AND also hook up the oil pressure sender unit at the same time. I'll mount the sender to the firewall and then run a short coper line from it to the TEE piece. And then oil press. gauge functionality and NO leaks! :D Finding both BSP --> NPT and NPT --> BSP adapters is a PITA. Next on the agenda after that, haha I dunno! Finally some rain dumping in So. Cali today and thus I discover how WELL my new Hankook tires stick even to wet pavement. Azeins Sports hated wet pavement. These tires are a real dream come true, no lie! Happy tuning everyone!! :)

Hey, thanks for the comments. Yes, your friend is correct, Recaro does manufacture the 'lude seats in certain years, though. The swap was not necessariy easy, had to fabircate and weld come bracketry, but I like them a hella lot better than the stock single pole headrest kind. But hey, love your Civic, and keep up the good work.

I've been doing lots of research into my next car and I think I've decided on a similar setup as your current, except with a K20A2 or a K24. I think I'll have the money to complete a nice and very powerful track car within the next 2 years and the EK may very well be my next project.

I also have a d series engine and couldn't get a a straight answer to my question. If you built up a d series and lightly boosted it, or transplanted a b1c type r , which of the 2 upgrades would have better longevity, and still be smog legal? And if you were to stay auto what can you do to strenthen the d series tranny?

are you sure?..i mean i dont want to say your wrong...but i know that the DX HP has 106@6200 RPM with torque of 103 lb/ft@4600 RPM and the EX has 127@6600 RPM with torque of 107 lb/ft@5500 RPM..and my engine size is 1590 cc and yours is 1493 cc, but the deck, standard engine bore, stroke, and engine rod length are the same..but the compresion height of pistons are different..mine would be 1.154 and yours would be1.181 inches..im not listin the rest thats the same..but the only other thing thats different is the cylinder head volume where mine is 32.8 cubic centimeters and yours is 34.6 and that mine is V-TEC and yours aint..just the motor itself wouldnt you think the EX is faster..AGAIN..i dont wanna say your wrong and start some argument or w/e..cuz i like your car..and your car most likely is faster cuz youve done more and its lighter..plus i thought the V-TEC gave it more of a jump..cuz i can feel the jump it gives

New suspension pics VERY soon! Picked up some silver Omni Power RLCAs, and ordered a Cusco rear lower tie-bar (finally) which get's delivered today. Also gonna throw the Circuit 8 wheels back on for everyday driving for the meantime till I figure out what tires I'm gonna get for the "16's. My Azenis sports are just about at the cords, passenger front has a nail in it (which I RACED on last weekend, LOL!) and have been driving around with all week since then, holding strong though. Might go with Hankook Ventus RS2 tires instead of the Falken Azens RT-615's since they might not have my size made till as long as December, ugh! D@mn Falken!

No, I didn't have time to attach it completely. there r 3 gaps, 1 at the rear( cause it was slightly banded during shipping) and 2 at the end of two sides, though they r small. I tried the way like you did, lined it up with the bumper, but it made the end 2 gaps even bigger. so I lower two sides and rise the rear. hey. just wondering. does that del sol rear sway bolt right up? i'm planning on adding one and want to get an idea of how the install will be. i noticed your not happy with the megan racing LCA's and their bushings. is it possible to just put in say energy suspension bushings instead of buying new LCA's? anyways, car looks awesome as usual. keep it up man.

Thanks for checking out my Accord...sorry about all the "chrome" incedents. I didnt know they actually wernt chrome...haha oh well im getting chrome rims soon. Yeah the exhaust looks pritty bad and it makes this weird pounding noise that you can just barelly hear when you are standing behind the car. Ill have to check with Honda on that if they will replace it free...I love the wood trim in my car too, you rarelly see Accord's with them on the doors AND centre concol. Anyways your Civic is really nice, you've done alot of work to it! looks like you drive it like a Honda should be driven too! Good luck on your future plans...keep me posted!

The 4door is now running 16" Sprint Hart CP's. Looks a hell of a lot better now. Just gotta get pictures up of it. Also, it was just repainted the same stock color, and all body parts re-fitted. Plus, the front mount intercooler and front bumper are fixed up and painted to where all the air goes directly to the intercooler.

It's great because on the Y7 D16 motor, the airbox sits atop the throttle body. It has much better throttle response (esp. at the mid to high end, Honda low end is helpless mostly) than my shorty ram had. I'm actually selling the A'PEXi filter from it today, lol! I'm going to give the Hankook RS2 tires a shot as soon as I sell my old Kumhos that are taking up space in my basement. I'm not ready to jump to Hoosiers or Kumho 710s. My times are getting better, but I think going from 15" to 16" wheels with sticky tires will help bring me closer to the Mini Coopers in H-stock.

yea i use to have Si wheels on my car but its too common these days. its rare, at least in colorado, to see GSR blades. good luck on the supercharger, and update us with some 1/4 times!!

Ahh i see really humm cool interesting do u think my strunts and shocks coul dbe soem sort of reasons as well cuz i have thee Tokico Adjustable white shocks and i left it onlevel five (1/soft --- 5/stiff) n i havent adjusted then to be at a level 3 is what i really wante just habvent done it yet cuz the back ones its hard to adjust it since the metal frame of thebody unit blocks it so ill have to drill a hole to be able to use a screw driver to switch it to the 3 level or some thing and hum sway bars ? strunt bars whats the differnce in the two ? please let me know. and thanks wish i coould see ur ride in actionin on the tracks and see how u make those tight turns and etc i didnt know about tires screeching is losing controll how about drifin ? *laughs* im reall ynuts here huh? well getback to meand thansk again

So you've made it into track events now!!! That's great. I haven't done any track events yet, but I'm corner working to save credits for free days at the track next spring/summer/fall. Your car still looks great.

Sorry to hear your first lip was stolen. I'm worried about mine now. Unlike the OEM stock lip, it only has two screws are fastened at the end of each side. It's so easy to unscrew them in a few minutes. 8| I'm wondering how many screws the rear lip has.

yeah it suprise me too i just asked if they sell it and they do. naw i just got the clear lense ones. reason why is because the clear fog lense will look better, instead of the yellow. but oh well im happy with oem fogs:P. well the front sway bar i got for free, it came off of a 97 civic ex 4dr. im still getting the h brace. hey imma make my car have a very good suspention, so that your not the only one on HSO hahah:P

i bouht my fogs from the honda dealers, for quiet cheap, because i know somepeople their, i just gotto wait for them to come in.
yeah for my slip streams, i had to slightly modify the crv caps so that it wont come of so easly. so it really tight and snug.
i really dont like following people like getting motors that most people have. i rather save up foor the big guns, like the k20a. that gonna ripp my wallet apart. i have to save $5500 for just the motor. it will be well worth it. maybe along the lines i get a turbo for it, and make it insanely fuking fast. b16/b18 wont stand a chance against the k20a in my hatch ahhaha, it will just be murder.

Yeah the chrome is ok with the white I'm not into the super bling () : ) just a lil shiny,i found these black rims that i'm going to get and get rid of the chrome on mine and then put in black mesh grille inserts, I can't decide on a body kit at all I'm pretty picky. I'm over in Germany right now so it kinda sucks when i order stuff for the car. Once i get done i just want it to be black and white and black chrome! Yeah i'm workin towards show quality. How long have you been workin on yours? It looks really good!

you can go to a hobby store i think, they should have something. if they do just paint the needles with the paint they have or might not have. well i dunno you really have to look on the net for something. they should have something at hobby stores. i dunno. hope everything works out man!

Real nice ride man, I really like it. I know my ride isn't going to be real fast with all the show factors going on... I really just want it " faster" than what it is, bc its slow as balls... and I have a 454 big block in my truck so its hard to compensate for the loss of power when I drive the car. Respecting the D-Series pride. Made me think 2x's about swapping mine. & yea i live in NY so a manual transmission is just asking to have bad days if you drive in the city. Avg speed is like 5mph. Plus mine is a daily driver. I much rather have an automatic.Maybe a much stronger car like a Subaru WRX Sti Or a Evo 9 might do the trick. Dropping a car out here also means back to the repair shop every weekend. NY is Pot Hole Heaven. So far i like the car. very nice. Keep up the good work.
I see you're getting a McCulloch HID conversion for your fogs, what made you decide those ones? Any good at all? I heard that IS300 fogs (or HID's?) fit into your foglight housings as if it were meant to go in from the factory. Are the McCulloch better than the IS ones?

yes when i mentioned the pins i mean needles. if you go on ebay, and look for si gauge cluster, you see that the needle is just red. since im using the red L.E.D the re from the needles shine/reflect the color vibrantly. the L.E.D doesnot shine through them. if you wnna do is task for your civic, you need to goto checkers, or advance auto parts, the have a bunch of red L.E.D. what i did was when i bought the red L.E.D i hard wire them in my cluster to when i turn my lights on, the L.E.D turns on with it. Make sure you know how to sodder too.

The front tracer is not the the same as the mercury tracer it is made by C-West, almost looks like the buddy club2 front end.

Yeah actually they had a bad connection. When we put tape on it so it would stay plugged in tight they never flicked on and off anymore. But I got a different set anyways. I got an xetronic set of 8000K. I like them a whole lot better since with the ctr headlights these don't blind you as bad. We jus put the other set in one of my bf's cars. I'll put new pics of them up later.

Damn this is a clean ass car. I love everything you done with it. That jackson super charge kit is pretty expensive. Maybe you can get more bang for your bucks with a turbo. I like the jdm fogs,lip and rims. Good luck with everything in the future.

I finally made it out to an autoX school last weekend. It was great to learn the ropes before I start competing. It was with the BMWCCA of DC, and my first competitive autoX will be this Sunday in Richmond with NASA. All I'm looking for this season is to find out if I'm dedicated and make sure that my times improve. I will not be spending ANY money on my car (keeping it H-Stock/Showroom stock) because it is daily driven ~150 miles per day and I'm still saving for my E36 M3. I'll keep you posted.

hey, thanks for the advice. i've read about the ECU adjustment on other forums. just wanted some input from anyone who has one. i guess i won't get it then. anything you think i should do before the turbo? it's a D15b7 motor so i'm not sure what parts such as cams, pulleys, etc are available. but i don't wanna do a mini me since it will just increase compression before going turbo.

Hey, I was wondering if your HIDs blink on and off while drivin? My driver side one is always turnin on and off. I could park the car and turn them off and five minutes later turn them back on and the driver side one doesn't wanna come on. We have checked everything so many times and its all connected good. But it's always done it since I got the hids but here lately it is gettin worse by doin it to me ALL the time, while I'm drivin they jus like to turn off and then come back on jus whenever it feels like it. It really sucks! I'm bout to get rid of them and get a different kit. Either a hella or phillips kit, it's goin to cost more but oh well. Just let me know how yours are doin for you, k? Later!

thanks for the advise man, i'm still kinda new to this stuff so advise is always good lol .. yea i was still kinda debating over dc sports bars or neuspeed but now that you said that i'll prolly go with neuspeed .. as far as the brakes go i'm prolly just gonna stick with the drilled/slotted ones even though what you said is prolly true and it makes since ... but i've also heard the drilled ones dont heat up as fast because of the holes and that they do better in wet conditions but who knows. .. i'm just hardheaded and i'll learn the hard way lol ..

Ahhh that sucks they took your pic without askin. I jus went to the site to see it. But yeah it's better than someone steelin it and puttin it on ebay. But anyways, yah my front lip isn't CF, I wouldn't want a CF one, thats jus me. I'm goin to get it painted sometimes when I get a chance. Doesn't really bother me bein black for now. Thats cool you got the passenger side seat to match the driver one, but I had actually never noticed that you didn't already have both, lol. Thats a good thing though right? Anyways good luck with whatever you have planned next!
I haven't really been able to notice, but I don't think it does on ours. The exhaust hangers for the muffler tip snapped off so now its been hanging by bungie cords, so while under hard acceleration, it does tend to vibrate the sh*t out of the car. Geez, The front lip on the car gives it about 4" of ground clearance, now with the H-brace hanging lower, it gives us about 3 1/2, on the underside of it, we have a bunch of yellow speedbump marks all over it, gotta love those speedbumps. Later.

So you like your hid's, I knew you would. Yup we put the coilovers on sunday. I like them better than the tanabes. The ride is definately smoother. I have them at the same height where the tanabes were but they can still go lower. I can't go any lower though cuz at my apt. it floods like half a foot when it rains (crappy drainage) and my car has already flooded three times. But anyways talk to ya later.

yeah that picture is the piston that sent us through hell with the LS and had to get a GSR. The car's been turboed since I put it on this site, but with my laziness I haven't had the chance to take the pictures of the turbo setup because I couldn't find the charger or memory card for my damn camcorder. Now that I got both of those, I just need to put videos up soon.

Oh yeah, those are the same hid's I have except mine are 10,000K. I love them! I've gotten pulled over with them though cuz the cop thought I had my high beems on cuz they are so bright since I have ctr headlights which don't have reflectors in them. Since you have the real ctr headlights too yours are goin to be bright too. But maybe not as bad cuz mine have a major blue tint and my bf thinks that since they are really blue and bright that they jus got on the cops nerves. 4700K are just real white though right.
Thats cool you got your car fixed. Yeah couple months after I got my car which was January I think of last year we took it out to the track. (it was completly stock then)I wanted my bf to run it first then I was goin to. Well that didn't happen. Cuz as soon as he got out there and he launched at like 4 or 5 rpms, both axles broke and the tranny cracked in half. One of our friends with an si goes out there like every week and launches at like 6 rpms and nothin ever happens. So I dunno what happend, guess my car is bad luck. But after my stuff gets all installed next week, we are goin to dyno it so we'll see. Maybe one day if I'm feelin like it's a good day we'll bring it to the track again and hope nothing bad happens. This Sunday I'm puttin on my new coilovers still so I'll talk to ya then. Laterz.

Hey man, the CF dash kit I got it on ebay, it cost me about $30 but if you want a real nice one get the one that says is 3D CF, it cost around $110 but is worth it, the one I got is just like a vynil and I don't like it that much, I'm going to order the 3D one soon!!! later

True that man. Yeah, Volks would have been WAY nice, I almost got a set of Mugen MF10 Mirror Faced around the time I got the Grids. I had set $1000 aside and only had another $600 to go, then I dipped into that $1k to buy a $750 Trek mountain bike (hydrolic disc brakes, Shimano LX drivetrain, front suspension, etc...) so yeah, whoops! :x But at least if the Rotas get ripped off, curbed or damaged, I won't feel so bad about it. Easier to replace $450 wheels than $2300 wheels. my Teins however, I'm very glad I waited and saved for that rather than getting some POS wannabe sleeved coilover springs. if i had known 2 and a half years ago what I know now, I'd have saved another $500 for Tein RS's... =\ I'm stoked though I can grace your "A" list. Tor E.'s Civic is an awesome car. Except for the wing, it used to still be an awesome car when I used to see it driving around town here in So. Cali. I still have the pics I took of it parked outside the shop I've gotten my more top dollar mods from, lol! ;p

The seat I didn't have too much choice in since I bought it used. I like the black on black for it because it MUCH lower visible profile than the gray gradient. Also the Ergo only came as a gradient, and all reclining Brides that I know of come with sectioned cushins. Finding a matching Brix will be a PITA. :(

The 4door has no progress ever since the motor was blown. the motor however is already machined and sleeved for bigger pistons, and now we're dealing with other personal problems going on with the motor and everything, so I have no idea when we will be getting it in, so for right now we got the 4door sitting with an empty engine bay :(.
No I didn't roll the fenders. My car cambers like really badly though so they stay up under the fenders. The only thing is that my bf took out that piece in the two front fenders cuz the tires were rubbing up there. Now the motor jus gets real dirty all the time. Anyways bout the mugen lip, we jus put it on first to make sure it fits properly before gettin it painted. It's still on the car right now too, lol, gotta find time to get it painted. Later.

Yeah i drove the Nissan 350 Z what a beast, has 2 more cylinders than the s2k, has more horse, and way more torqe, Wow I was shocked, to find out how similar the s2 and the 350 are they are almost identical in performance! Nissan 350 looks better as far as looks go, but the 2k is a convertable, so its definetly between those 2! Ill know in a few days!

Yeah keep it up, I only raced 1/4 just for fun, I wanted to see if intake exh and header does any thing, it did just a lil bit. By those engine mods i probobly gained 10-12 I think. I tried a drifing on 14" rims pretty good but after the drift all the power is gone because obviously its a fwd car. thats what i might do with a s2k, drifting sounds like fun, have u seen Initial D the cartoon? or the game? yeah its animated but has some killer drift scenes!
you seem to know a ton about suspension. i have a question for you about my accord..well i got it lowered..and i got ingalls camber kit..and i got a place to align it and adjust it for me..but still i get tire wear..is there like special balljoints or some sort that i'm suppose to install?

all my bulbs r stock...but as for my headlight bulbs i whoring a collection of piaa spark 8000k, piaa super plasma, piaa ion yellow, raybrig metalwhite 3850k, and sylvania silverstar's...i use whatever one i'm in the mood for...lol...i even had 6000k hid's but i didn't like them so i got rid of it...hah

The 240sx really dont need much work to run.. just a new distributor and battery. I had the Gunmetal with Polished Lip ADR Concept PRo 17" inch on my Si before. But i gave those rims to my brother to put on his civic hatchback. Those rims weighted only 14LBS.. pretty light weight for 17 inch rims dont you think. Well for the type of color of the 16 Rota's C8's that im gunna get is either Bronze or Sports Bronze..I might end up getting both..cause you know. you dont see a car at 4 angles.

Hey the other si is my bf's friends. Not bf, hehe. Anyways my bf has a 2000 integra. Well I got pulled over bout a couple weeks ago cuz cop said i had my high beems on, he says my headlights were blindin him. I had my low beems on though, lol. But my bf has an HID kit in his car and his aren't as bright as mine cuz he said since I have civic type r headlights they don't have reflectors in them. Talk to ya laterz.

That's cool. The drop still amazes me. In the back I'm almost near the bottom with mine, but in the front since the stiffer springs came 50mm shorter, I have the perches about halfway down. I want to dump mine some more, but I gotta roll my fenders first for sure!

doesn't rub as much as u think...combination of stiff susp. (less compression), wheel well worn in for more room (from previous soft/crappy suspension), and narrow rims and tires (stockies)...hahaha...anyways the way my car is and how it done up is daily driver in mind...so any serious issues won't cut it...

I more focused on trying to learn how to be a good drifter. I do alot of drifting with my accord also. Its not as good as a RWD vehicle, but i try my best to drift into turns. I can drift into turns, but i cant keep my car going. Just a dead stop after the drift. I got few suspension mods on the accord. It gots pretty good handling too. I can take them cloverleaf turns at about 65-70. Your suspension work is crazy though. Ive never even seen an under front strut like that on a civic. But yeah i want to try to pimp out my 240sx when i get it after i sell my SI.

Yeah 240sx Do come with weak motors.Thats why I'm either gonna go for the SR20DET Red tops or the RB25..ANd if you do think you could take my accord with your civic..GOOD FOR YOU! i like that pic of your car with that skyline for shure. Dude i love 4 bangers, I love them with a passion especialy the S2 4 cylinder block. I really want a 2003 WRX or a S2000. I either want a factory built turbo car, That is actually built for a turbo or a quick 4 cylinder over 200 hp and that my friend is why I want the s2000.

What's your opinion on the Neuspeed front brace? It's all welded together, there's no screw holding the ends on to the bar like on most of the ones you see. That's what everybody's been telling me to get anyway...so I dunno...can you recommend any good brands, as far as sway bars go?

Nice seat and thanks for the comments again. I have heard quite a few people do the same thing that you have done. I was even thinking about doing it to mine for the time being just to see if I would notice anything.
Another update: Recently removed my short ram intake setup (see engine mods and pic of engine) and replaced it with my stock OE airbox, with a K&N drop-in filter inside, and the POS snorkle pipe removed, so that the box just sucks the air in through the hole on the side. This has proven to yield better results than the short ram setup did. Mid range and high end power have increased quite a noticeable amount, but unfortunately no low end was gained, that seems to be the weak point of most Honda motors, the low end. This also keeps my motor/car slightly more legal, and I won't have to change anything come smog inspection time next year for the first time of owning my car since the end of '99. The advantage of the Y7 D-series motor, it's unique verticle throttle body that allows direct airflow into the intake manifold via the airbox without the need for any pipe or hose connection in between. I've been toying with the idea of trying out a cowl-induction setup for the intake. Much more research into that before I even buy a hood to chop up to attempt that. ^_^

dude u spent all your time tuning it and spending 1500$ when a stock ls, gs integra comes with a 140 horse stock, sohc its not worth it, i had one see my profile, i sold my my old civic bought an si, i really was impressed that a motor thats 1.6 liter pushes 160Horse Redlines @8000 WOW big jump from a DX to an Si, so i like your car i dont like the sohc motors, But agian your car looks sick as hell, and might be quick as hell i dont know, but anyway were all honda fans so much love...

I try to post up the latest pics I have of me auto-X'ihng with it, on here both because they are cool to see, and also as proof that this car ain't just a show piece or another ricer around town for that matter. I love both sets of wheels too, which is why I opted to keep the C8's rather than sell them. After driving a couple weeks now on the Azenis Sports tires, I think I'm going to get a set for my C8's once the ES100's on them right now, are done with. Always nice to have a spare set of wheels if need be.

I like them a lot! Had them about 2 years now. They became so "everyday" to me, that I went and upgraded the springs to ones that are 2kg stiffer! But handsdown, the best mod I've done thus far I feel. They really make a big differance when I auto-X.

Ahh yes... it's in my exterior stuff, but I'm using PIAA Plasma Ion (yellow) wedge bulbs for the city lights, LEDs wouldn't reflect back the same way or as well. It's mounted into the city light hole that comes built into the JDM CTR housings, using sockets from a 6th gen Prelude city light, then just wired up to the parking lights.

H-brace helped out A LOT. Reduced some of the oversteer the rear of the car would get, and made steering a little tighter and able to take turns quicker and with less understeer. I got it from www.robearracing.com for $65!!! Same with the megan arms, $110 for the pair of those. I'll post up a pic of the city lights when I get home from work.

I have the Tanabe SOC coilovers. My car is more set up for show, although it does have some performance upgrades. Your car looks nice by they way!

nice ride man. Just one thing Dont get the Chikara header. I have one and yeah its nice for the price. But teh Flange is to thin and Mine has bent slightly over time and under heat.
