I like to get a 6mt v6 for my 99(01) Accord because it has way more power and torque than 4cylinder engines. Oh about the price? That's is what i call money well spent.

Nice Accord, my cousin has one with a H22 swap that thing is fun to drive. I dint go LS vtec cuz the LS engine had over 150,000 miles on it it wasnt worth it.

Hell Yea S-10's Are badd!!! Just recently I ran one with Bags in the Freeway and he kept up with me pretty good!!! I don't really like runnin' 105mph in the freeway like that but I had to just for the Rush you know?? D@mn that felt good!!! It's been a while... After that I just Dumped the Rear and dude and his Passanger tripped out!! He dumped his rear too..... Before the Air Cylinders I liked it a lot, but that's one of the reasons I Installed them, so I can stop runnin' like that. Hopefully that works out for you Dawg and have fun with it.. ur trunk only has 7k miles? dam. u better sell it. u'll get a really high price for it and u can spend that money on another car. u can get a nicely moded accord or move where ever u want to. i bet u can sell that truck for like 10k atleast. think about it.
Honda Nation, yeah the bezel is real carbon fiber, it might look funny because it has some kind of clear coat or finish put on it. But trust me, it's the real deal. Actually it's the only mod left on the car besides the clear corners and bumpers, everything else is gone in anticipation of selling it.

Honda Nation, where's the fake carbon fiber? The guauge overlay is genuine, and so is the shift knob. And the headlights are gone, as are most of the mods on this car. I'm about to trade it in for a black 95 coupe, so that's why I haven't done anything to it lately.

and since the A20 supposedly only has 60,000 miles on it because it was a replacement in the '88, i'm going to drop it in the 90, also because after the tune up it will be newer than any F22 engine from a junkyard or a seller.

i just haven't been able to do anything to either one since i had the stereo installed on the '90 before doing any mods. and then i bought this second car and just got a job recently after not workin for a while.
at least i may be able to sell my '90 for a good price soon because the damn gas prices. everyone wants to buy it because of the mileage.
anyway, i know there's more parts available for the '90, but i really like how the '88 looks. and to me the '88 looks sportier

Even though it's a daily driver now, you should still consider dropping it. Even without all the drastic body mods a clean four door such as yours will alway look great dropped.
I laugh at people that diss your Accord, since you plain as day state that you returned it to stock to get top dollar back for it. Holla doesn't know ANYTHING about money considering he's never bought a single car in his life, or sold one for that matter. His parents buy him a new car every 5 months for the same reason morons pay $1.2 million for a car that was BUILT for the track only to drive it around town to posh restaurants. What a freakin' joke! ya i know man. all those useless screws they put in our accords. I always end up throwing half away cause they are not that useful. The worst ones were the ones that attach the dash bezel(or what ever u call it) to the dash. And you have take out the whole center console to get them. The two screws right behind the stereo. I took em out once and never put em back in.
I don't think it would since the V6's are J-series motors and totally different from the 4-cyl F-series. If he went with that tranny, he'd almost certainly have to use the engine it came with. Some company, I think it's 5Zigen makes some crazy sequential conversion kit for auto-trannies though.

hey i think i figured out what the problem is. everytime i use my laptop, it shows others id on the messages. The member services doesnt work my laptop either, have no idea why.
Honda actually made a sequential transmission (Tip-tronic variant) as an option on late 90's Preludes. I have yet to see one in person though, but they do exist.

well i put pins on mines cause were i live they broke into my car an best way to pop the hood wit out gettin inside the car so they can disconnect the siren from ur alarm is to pull the cabe from ur hood from the fender try it it works pretty damn well trust me but ne how ur car looks nice
The k20a type r motor is in the 02-05 type r hatch, and its brake horsepower, not block, believe me, im a certified technician. You are right, it does loose power depending in what you put it in, some cars less than others, probably 195 in his '94.
well yeah, thats one thing i left out, the boost they run on the streets are probably different than on track, or even on those dyno videos, but it looks like the kid got the idea finally, that a civic with that power is crazy for a daily car :)

I didnt really felt the difference, but my friend is lovin it. He has a 00 accord V6 and he was like "OMG". The chip that I got was only like 10 bucks. Buy one get one free. I'll see if i can find the website again. The one that I put in my white accord made a little difference but only for a few days. But any way, its not bad at all.

yeah, and i was movin the next day anyways, so i had no time to get it redone and the right way, so i just said "screw it" i mean it looks nice, but its not what i want, cuz i cant take it off. but like a few weeks ago, he cut it as evenly as possible for me, and did everything for free, and also painted my stock headlights gunmetal for free. im still dissapointed tho : /
I do plan on selling it, probably when it gets closer to summer. I don't know if you would want it though, it was in much better condition when I took those pictures. Unfortunately somebody decided to put some key marks on it; I got a settlement from the insurance company to get it fixed, but as of right now I haven't done anything with the money. The winter has been hard on the car too, rust is starting to become noticable on the rear quarter panels.
It's got some mechanical problems as well...the shocks are all blown and should be replaced, and apparently there are some bushings that need to be replaced also...I have a list of everything that needs done somewhere around here, I just don't remember where at the moment...
It's got about 133,000 miles on it right now. If you're interested let me know, but honestly I'd rather just trade it in to a dealer than sell it to anybody privately in its current condition...

Hey Ben yes your correct those are the stock 94-95 alloy rims just like the ones u have. I had finally gotten them in somewhat good deal i think 75 for all for rims, but they had scratched lip and one dent which i had pounded out to even it out a bit. Painted it black gave it hardly noticeable so it works fine for me, becuase i hated my gay rims i had on. Im going to try n sell my gay ones and get another set of those alloy set and keep them stock color like yours. well peace out bro thanks for your comment.

The tail lights were about $70 I think...but I bought them from O' Reilly Auto Parts, which was a mistake...you can find them on E-Bay for much much cheaper...but yeah, I think they're just about the only aftermarket tail lights that look good on the 94-97 Accord...

yeah still trying to sell the 91...and I think I've decided on an H22...even though I would really like my engine to be unique (everyone swaps an H22 and no one does an F20B), I have talked to a lot of people, including numerous honda techs, and the main opinion is that although an F20B would be awesome, it would be nearly impossible to find everything to build it for as reasonable a price as H22 parts. Did you have springs on your car already, or did you install the Neuspeeds? How is the ride and how much do they lower your ride? I am not sure which way to go as far as suspension

yeah i guess i didnt fully explain myself...the 91 accord i have has a fully built, naturally aspirated h22 and its pushing 280hp..will litts helped me build it...if anyone is from north jersey, they probably now who he is...what i meant by my comment is that the "jdm style" lights dont draw any attention to the car, because they essentially look stock anyway...but dude lets just stop fighting...sorry to hear about your car being vandalized. were the pics you have up taken after the car wreck? like are you saying you had a different bumper on it? have any pics of that if so...and...ever consider taking off the pinstripe? your paint looks like its in pretty condition so it would probably be pretty easy and wouldnt leave a stripe of new paint down the side of your car...hit me up if you want the details cuz i took them off my 91

D16A9 is a JDM ZC series D16 motor, the ONLY DOHC D16 ever produced. Unfortuneately the states never got it in any cars, well actually some 1st gen Integras might have? I can't remember so I'll have to look into that, but it was in JDM SiR CRXs and one or two other models as well. Awesome engine though, 137hp from the factory, ALMOST comparable to the B18C1 LS motor, but possibly slightly more kick, I knew a guy that had one in an EF (4th gen ) hatchback. He could chirp that thing all the way to 4th!

oh and on top of it all...take a closer look (Mr.KnowItAllAboutHondas), Garrets headlights are not one piece...its a black housing headlight, with a black housing corner...not one piece in anyway...notice the very easy to notice seam between the two

cops are like predators, and cars that look fast and furious are their prey... i just got a 12 point ticket for tryin to pass someone who cut me off, the cop saw this and assumed i was "drag racing"..when in reality i wasnt. To add on, i was never even speeding, now I may lose my license becuz my car looked like a race car to him. so, thats mainly why i sold my last car..i like this car better anyway, its more practical!

Holy geez, you ripped that gangsta up! lol! Yeah, Chrome wheels are not cool on Civics, besides the fact they weigh MORE than the stock wheel/tire combo, and that's just the wheels themselves! I know a strut bar isn't an engine mod, but I decided to keep it simple since it's in the engine bay so I just left it there. It's no big deal.
And about the Tornado thing, I didn't get ripped off, it was free from a co-worker at my old work (Checker Auto Parts). So I might as well try it out right? No harm in that...and did I mention that it was FREE??? You can't beat free stuff!
About the coilovers, yeah, I was already considering it, but I don't have the cash right now to purchase it...especially since I want the best parts for this car, and the best parts happen to be the most expensive. Also take into consideration that I'm saving up for a motor swap right now. I guess I need to update that section of my profile, must've missed it.
I'm glad to hear you like my car. My last car was my first project car, so it was subject to trial and error so the overall turnout wasn't the greatest that it could be, but it was still alright. With this car, I'll show my true potential with the knowledge I've gained from my past experiences.

So far i'm liking the muffler, it's kinda loud when i really get on it. And it's a bit raspy. But i didn't really expect it sound like a World Sport exhaust or something like that considering it was only $345 installed. i'd suggest getting the catalytic converter, prowler didn't like the sound without. But it does sound really nice at low to mid range rpms though, nice and deep.
